White Christmas

It's the first day of winter tomorrow. I can feel the cold, but they say no white Christmas here this year. Well, we can still dream of a white Christmas, right?! Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

I am entering this card to the CAS-ual Friday Challenge: CFC189 -- Dreaming of a White Christmas.

Christmas Tree

I am making lots of CAS Christmas cards lately. It's quick and easy especially when I have lots of cards to make and I tried to make them all differently. Here is one of the cards.

Cute Reindeer

A simple reindeer card. The reindeer was colored using colored pencils. The sequins add sparkles for the card.

Thank Everthing

Fall is the season to give thanks. The perfect timing for me to send  this card to a dear friend. She is kind, caring, and always there for me and this card says everything I wanted to thank her for.

Merry Mittens

Another Christmas card. This time I used the mittens stamps. I watercolored all the mittens and used a glitter pen to make different patterns for each pair. I had so much fun making this card!

Thinking of you Bear

I was so inspired by this card by Sandy from My Favorite Things that I had to make one. I do not have the new stamp set she used yet but I have their polar bear stamps! I love to use the cute polar bear stamps for Christmas cards. They are so easy to color!

Pink Prosperity

I know. I know. It is still early fall, and lot of trees are still full of leaves. But I am thinking of a new year already, especially when I was making Christmas cards. Some say it's going to be a cold winter this year. I am hoping for a white Christmas, but wishing the blossoms will soon follow and bring prosperity for the new year.

I will be posting more Christmas cards soon.

This is a close up. Hopefully the blue watercolor background wash is visible here.

Lotus Thank You

Have you ever seen a big pond full of lotus flowers? One of my happy childhood memories was going to see the lotus flowers in the park with my family in the summer time.

This is a happy thank you card made with Lotus Stamp Set from Altenew.

Poppy Thank you

The Poppy stamp from Penny Black was one of the first stamps I got when I first started making cards. I love how quickly I can make a thank you card by using the stamp and the matching die cut. It's just so simple and elegant!

Blue Snowflake

I made a simple snowflake card that I love so much. The snowflake was die cut and left on the watercolor paper. I then carefully watercolored the snowflake and added the sentiment.

It's time to make some Christmas cards!

Blue Happiness

I've always wanted to make a pretty "messy" floral background for my card. When I saw the challenge this month at the Flower Challenge is Focus on Background Stamping, I finally made up my mind to make the card.

I first water colored a soft subtle blue background on a watercolor paper, then I stamped varies floral images using different shades of blues overlapping each other and the music scores. To create the many different shades of blues, I stamped the floral images with first, second, and third generations of stamping until the inks were no longer visible. I also colored a couple of white floral die cuts with subtle blue inks before I glued them to the card.

This is a happy blue summer card! I am very happy with it!
